About my collections

Currently I have four types of Anno lists, which are collections of movies, TV shows, games and books that entertained me through the year. Here's how they work:

Books

I'll add a book to the list if I finish it. I'll also rate it and write a short review about it on the list. By the end of the year I'll pick a "best of the year" and a "runner up". I'll only give those titles to books I read for the first time on that year. If all I read were books I read before, there will be no winners. I'll also write down the rating and the number of pages on each book and add the number up by the end of the year.

Games

I'll add a game to the list if I play it, no matter for how long. I'll also rate it whenever I finish it, play for 3 hours of more or abandon it and I'll write a short note/review about it on the list in every case. I'll only put it on the category of "played" if I finish it. In the other cases I'll put it in the category "wanted". By the end of the year I'll pick a "best of the year" and a "runner up". I'll only give those titles to games I played for the first time on that year and at least for 3 hours or finished it. If all I played were games I played before or if no game reaches the status of "played for 3 hours" or "finished" there will be no winners. Games that have no official ending will forever be on the "wanted" category.

In short:

Played for less than 3 hours: wanted, no rating
Played for 3 hours or more: wanted, rating (eligible for title)
Finished: played, rating (eligible for title)
Finished before: played, rating
Abandoned: wanted, rating

Movies

I'll add a movie to the list if I finish it. I'll also rate it and write a short review about it on the list. By the end of the year I'll pick a "best of the year" and a "runner up". I'll only give those titles to movies I watched for the first time on that year. If all I watched were movies I watched before, there will be no winners.

TV Shows

I'll add a TV show to the list if I watch at least one episode of it. I'll also rate it whenever I finish at least a season of it or abandon it and I'll write a short note/review about it on the list in every case. I'll only put it on the category of "watched" if I finish at least one season. In the other cases I'll put it in the category "wanted". By the end of the year I'll pick a "best of the year" and a "runner up". I'll only give those titles to TV shows I watched for the first time on that year and at least finished one season or finished it completely. If all I watched were TV shows I watched before or all TV shows were watched for less than a season there will be no winners. I'll also write down the last episode I watched, the episodes I watched in years prior and the aproximate amount of hours watched.

In short:

Watching, less than a season: wanted, no rating
Watching, at least a season: watched, rating (eligible for title)
Finished: watched, rating (eligible for title)
Abandoned: wanted, rating
